What
Joyce's Clients Say About Her
|
About Joyce Grillo For
more than twenty years, Joyce has developed her expertise as a leadership
consultant assisting high potentials and senior executives in becoming
better leaders. She has worked both internally in Human Resources
and as an external consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the United
States and globally. Joyce’s interest in leadership development was first ignited
when she worked in Citibank’s Investment Banking Division
where she was responsible for identifying and managing the development
of their high potential leadership pool. She designed and implemented
their first on boarding and mentor programs to help new management
hires successfully integrate into the Bank's culture. As Head of HR for Citibank’s Private Bank, she developed a
leadership and talent management process to grow the next generation
of leaders. Her work as a member of a number of bank-wide talent
mobility committees that assessed candidates for career advancement
provided her with the relevant experience and formed her practical,
"real world" approach to developing leaders today. These
experiences have given her the ability to look not only at the individual,
but to take a systemic look at the entire organization and its culture
and the role it plays leadership development. After leaving Citibank, Joyce began a career as a leadership and
organizational consultant and gained broad exposure including designing
and delivering management and leadership programs, executive coaching,
assimilating new leaders, communication training, 360 assessments,
culture surveys, competency models, team development as well as
large scale organizational change initiatives. Joyce’s certifications include: Clark Wilson, CPI 260, Hogan,
Dennison, Disc, Learning Styles Inventory, FIRO-B, Lominger’s
Voices and Choices, Myers Briggs® Step II, Profiler, Situational
Leadership, Skillscope, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Inventory and the
Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal. Joyce is a member of the Duke Education Global Learning Resource
Network where she provides feedback, coaching and consultations
for their global leadership programs. She serves on the Board of
the New York Human Resources Planning Society and is past president
and a current member of the New York Chapter Psychological Type
(MBTI). Joyce is also a member of the Organizational Development
Network of New York and The Coaching Learning Group. She writes
and speaks on leadership and intergenerational issues and is a regular
contributor to The National Networker, an on-line publication.
